I modified the pattern by crocheting the scarf width-wise versus length-wise which eliminated the curling that I experienced with Cloudy Nights.

This is the yarn that I purchased for myself, marking my first fine, natural yarn purchase. And at an alpaca farm to top it off. During my visit to Trail, Oregon, I had an opportunity to investigate Ashland, where I had my first visit to an LYS (Local Yarn Store), where fine yarns are sold. To be honest I was overwhelmed, even more so by the generosity and warmth of the proprietors, who informed Tania and I of a nearby alpaca farm!
