Wrap It Up

2020-07-01 Addendum

I just found pictures of this project under a different name. And not that I am a better knitter, I was able to count the number of stitches I cast on. Plus the needle size below, which was my high end estimate, I am set to make more with my stash of Caron Simply Soft, as soon as I finish three special requests and something for me.

If memory serves me properly, she did tell me that she had snagged hers. I am pretty sure I have some Simply Soft stashed. I just did a recount of the stitches and I am guessing a ten needle, if not a thirteen.

Oh, and by the way, this was not the beginning of my project naming convention.

Hooker Notes

One of my earliest knit items…it am pretty sure it was a gift to my cousin, Regina. I remember her picking out the yarn at Yarns Unlimited, in Santa Monica: Caron Simply Soft.

With no knowledge or memory, I wonder if this might be where I began to association my project names with songs: Wrap It Up by Romeo Void

I wish I had taken more notes, but I have a start:

On the Needles: September 12-October 4, 2011

Pattern: Improvised by Hooker Leo

Needle Size: US 13 – 9.0 mm

The Yarn

Caron Simply Soft
Color: Iris; Content: 100% Acrylic; Weight: Aran Weight

I can swatch to size and knitting one skein should do it. If not, I will be making two; if and when I make this item again. Her’s did come out very nicely, like a feminine blanket scarf.
