A Hazy Shade Of Winter by Bangles
Shades of white, grey and black are very representative of winter for me: snow, gloom, depression.
About A Hazy Shade Of Winter Scarf
More often than not, I will knit novelty yarns because I can see the live stitches on the needle; crochet does not offer such easy visibility sometimes. Because I only had sixty-six yards per skein, I knew it had to be a scarf. I started several times: k1b, ribs, garter, stockinette, I could not make up my mind. I decided to go with stockinette field surrounded by garter because I know stockinette has a tendency to curl and I am not about to block anything.
I still notice how the garter edges keep folding, back, behind the stockinette. Grr! There must be a solution; that shall be my mission.

Love this yarn because I am a mohair fan. Color: Gorgeous! Knitability: Easy, but watch out for the second strand getting loose. Because they only identify yarn color by number, I don’t know which color is the odd man out, nor which color corresponds to which color
