Lady Killer: WIP

I am not sure how to proceed in color on Lady Killer and thought I would put it out to you for some feedback.

As you can see, dark mauve is the dominant color. I began by using up the scraps of other acrylic and cotton yarns/threads to begin. Having exhausted all color-pertinent scraps, my original plan end with dark mauve/dark purple stripes, does not seem exciting to me anymore. I think I want to add more colors, but that could turn out bad.

So these are my only conceivable options:

  1. Resume with dark mauve because it is the dominant color and I want to end the cone
  2. Resume with dark purple, which would complete a manual gradient shift, and end with it despite technical difference in color
  3. Resume with dark mauve/dark purple striping, exhausting dark mauve and ending in dark purple block, if necessary
  4. Resume with dark mauve color block, end with dark purple color block

I think I am leaning towards option one because I love how Dark Lady came out with the reserved color stripes.

    1. Thanks for your input. Of course, you know I could not wait for input and made an executive decision. I stopped the striping because I would rather end the cone than star a new yarns. I will see how far it goes and might introduce some baby blue again (at the beginning).
