The Name
Heaven Knows by Donna Summer
Heaven knew I could do it! This is my first attempt at Fair Isle knitting. And I am digging the disco beat of Heaven Knows while I post this.
The Cowl
Dimensions: 10-inch diameter 8.25-inch height
Destination: Charity
Whiie it only involves two colors, contains only one-stitch floats, and improvised design, I am impressed with my own work, despite tension issues again. Aiyaa! The other characteristic I am not found of is the way the 1 x 1 rib keeps wanting to fold up/down. I am currently working on another cowl in stockinette only and it is curling up! And to top it off; while it does fit over my 23-inch head, it does not fit well around my neck, height wise.
Oh, and the other remarkable fact is that I knitted this in sixteen hours, straight!
