I recently had an opportunity to spend the weekend in San Juan Capistrano. I had heard about Yarn del Sol through Facebook, thinking I had been impressed by their ads/inventory.

Easy access, ample parking. Loved the “living room” area upon entry – for social stitching. Yarns are organized by weight for ease of location. Acrylic blends are low-end fiber content; prices comparable with added discount of reduced sales tax rate of 6.00%!

Accommodating of my big personality, Angela, was knowledgeable regarding inventory and fibers weights/contents. Even the Stranded Colorwork instructor and her students allowed me to take a picture.

If you’re ever in the neighborhood, might be worth the stop for the reduced tax rate alone!!

My friend, Tania, fell in love with a Debut by Katiuscia Bayslak – The Yarn Juice and picked out some Cascade Cherub DK for me to make it for her. Of course, I had to make a purchase also: Dream Color To Life Smooshy with Cashmere and Stitch Together Studio.
