Since my last guild meeting, I’ve been busy crocheting on this flat for Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?
Fortune tapped me on the shoulder for a serendipitous experience at my last guild meeting, whereupon I discovered that Catherine was having another Buck-A-Ball Bonanza! – all proceeds to charity. I purchased two packs of three half-skeins in shades of blue. AND, Brandi found some natural colors in the raffle donations that fell off the truck. 😀 😀 😀
Anyway, just to keep you up on my antics with this project, at last measurement I discovered that I still needed another 31 inches because the lat needs to be 3x the width, not 2x as I had incorrectly presumed. Aiyaa! Still with the blues and naturals, because they are smaller skeins, I don’t think I will meet measure yet. And, my progress-marker fell out! Jeez! I suppose it’s true: when it rains; it pours!
I am so eager to be finished with this so I can felt it and see the final size and piece. Yet, I still need to do the strap, but I will be so happy to be that close to the end that should come along happily.
