Electric Shock: Off da Hook

“Feel the music…

Electric Shock

The Name

Electric Shock by Deee-Lite

I was looking for a name that related to the ocean, sea, water, waves, et cetera, but I think I’ve exhausted those names. When all of a sudden the next song I clicked to was Electric Shock by Deee-Lite and I made the connection of blue electricity; also a nod to the fact that not knowing the correct foundation chain for a ripple, I got it right on, minus one stitch.

The Cowl

Dimensions: 21.5-inch diameter x 9-inch width
Destination: Unknown, may be purchased; if not, Interval House

Big and squishy! I saw a granny cowl that I was interested in making and chained the foundation per the pattern. Well stupid pattern, only takes you to one repeat of the stitch pattern. Frog!

Tried a double crochet ripple and voila! It worked. I did not want to break into the complete cake, starting with the scraps. Well, the scraps made a decent cowl, so good call on my part.

The Yarn

Caron Chunky Cake
Color: Blue Moon; Content: 100% Acrylic; Weight: 6, Super Bulky Weight

Squishiness that I love in yarn. A little splitty.
