Crazy Over You

“Every time I dream that were together;
knowing just how much I really love you;
you step into the room and steal my heart away;
can I live this dream just one more day?

The Name

Crazy Over You by Desire, featuring Rae Flores

A blast from the past, which led me down the primrose path to another oldie, Take A Chance by Waterfront Home…the days when all I wanted to do was be inebriated and dance all night long only to fall in love and be taken home by the man of my dreams. That never really happened.

The Cowl

Dimensions: 5.5-inch x 24-inch diameter

Even I am crazy over this cowl. It reminds me of a Crayola crayon; also, a little bit Charlie Brown-ish. I recently saw another male fiber artist duplicate a rug-of-a-scarf that Lenny Kravitz was sportin’; fine and dandy if I had Lenny’s body. My defiance at V. kicks in and I want to wear just to yell “I’m free!,” but I don’t want to hurt V. I do got it bad.

I used US 15 needles. Cast on 100 stitches. 2 x 2 Rib. Width based on estimate of Lion Brand Skein, considerably smaller. I could’ve made middle section wider. Huff puff!

Notice I have not yet donated to charity.

The Yarn

Caron Chunky Cake
Color: 17007 Blue Moon; Content: 100% Acrylic; Weight: 6, Super Bulky Weight

Lion Brand Hometown USA
Color: 153 Oakland Black; Content: 100% Acrylic; Weight: 6, Super Bulky Weight

The significance of what Company A considers Super Bulky Weight, is not that exactly of the consideration of Company B. I just want to be rid of it so I can work on a project for payment.
