Tom’s Diner

The Name

Tom’s Diner by Suzanne Vega feat. The DNA Disciples

There seemed to be some confusion as the the correct artist denomination. I figure since Suzanne Vega’s name is more always associated with this song to place her first, featuring The DNA Disciples. Because of the disciples, this song popped up from my “DNA” search. And DNA is the first thing that came to mind after viewing the finished project.

The Scarf

Dimensions: 78 x 5.5 inches
Destination: El Segundo Slip Stitchers Charity

26 Stitches crocheted using half double crochets. I am really digging the pooling on this scarf; I had hoped for similar pooling on What Does Sex Mean To Me, but that was obviously a striping yarn.

The Yarn

Unknown Purple/White
Color: Unknown; Content: Man-made fibers, per burn test; Weight: Unknown

Another unlabeled yarn that ended up in my stash. The pooling on this yarn is groovilicious! The deepness of the purple leads one to believe it is chenille or velour. Even the light purples, are more in the blues than reds; I like that!
