Round Here by Counting Crows
My thought creativity is at a low. This was a reach to relate to the project, which was made with a yarn color named Harvest. I tried to find out who sang that old song Harvest Moon” which I remember from childhood, but I could not even find the song.
Dimensions: approximately 33 inches square
Destination: El Segundo Slipt Stitchers charities
I decided to crochet this lapghan for a new charity we are supporting at the guild and because I love Homespun yarn and colors. I chose to do it in-the-round because I did not want to make-to-size, preferring to work the four skeins of yarn to an acceptable size. Thankfully, I chose this method, as I tired of crocheting after the second skein. I managed to suck it up and get the third in there, reaching the required size range.
Lion Brand Homespun
Color: 37 Harvest; Content: 98% Acrylic, 2% Polyester; Weight: 5, Bulky Weight
Hook Size: US K Hook
Crocheted using double crochet to make the project reach completion faster. I do notice how my square is not “really” square; I am not sure why, though I do know that I missed some stitches but made them up in the next round. It might have to do with tension and working in-the-round also.
