Respect by Aretha Franklin
Random title from my music library. Respect could relate to my manually manipulated ombre scheme.
The Blanket Scarf
Dimensions: 80 x 18 inches
Cast on seventy-two stitches and came up with my own design. As I continued on this project, I began to notice knitting fabric characteristics that I do not like: first is the folding of the side border inward due to the first straight rib; secondly, the pulling caused by the cables on the bottom border. That aside, I am just glad to be done. I love the seed stitch field, but did not anticipate the color changes would look so hectic; probably should’ve stuck to garter.
Fair Isle Liberty
Colors: Vanilla, Biscuit, Suede, Coffee, and Black; Content: 100% Acrylic: Weight: 4, Worsted, Medium Weight
Love this yarn for its softness and squishiness. If you’ve been following my blog posts, you know the history of the yarn, I will point out that I bought way too much yarn, only using one skein of each color to make my blanket scarf.
